Congressman Seth Moulton has announced that he has selected funding for 16 local projects as part of the initial mark-up of the FY2027 Appropriations legislation, including a grant for Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø. The Salem News writes:
The local projects include $1 million to build a new microelectronics and semiconductor training lab at Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø, $950,000 for storm infrastructure repairs in Ipswich, $850,000 for HVAC upgrades at Witchcraft Heights Elementary School in Salem, $850,000 for accessibility upgrades to the Swampscott Public Library, $500,000 for expanded behavioral healthcare services at the new Salem Family Health Center, $500,000 for improvements to Washington Street in Peabody, and $500,000 to renovate and preserve the North Beverly Fire Station.
